Job summary

Manitoba Health in Hamiota, MB is seeking a Family Physician to join Hamiota Health Centre. The physician will provide comprehensive family medical care, diagnose and treat illnesses, and act as the primary care provider while coordinating with colleagues in a rural setting.

Qualifications

• The successful candidate must hold a Doctor of Medicine degree
• Current licensure or eligible for full license with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Manitoba
• Must be a member of CMPA or provide proof of equivalent malpractice insurance

Wage Rate:

Compensation is salaried as per the PMH and Doctors Manitoba negotiated rates. Benefits are provided.

Position Summary

Hamiota Health Centre is a 14 bed acute care and a 29 bed long term care facility. Services offered include Diagnostic, Emergency, Therapy, Public Health, Chemotherapy, and Mental Health.

Prairie Mountain Health is seeking a Family Physician to join the Hamiota Health Centre. Duties to include: performing all duties associated with a family practice, including diagnosing and treating diseases, physiological disorders and injuries of patients, act as the primary care provider and provide continuous care toward the management of patients’ health. The physician will also share in the Emergency Department on call schedule and will cooperate and coordinate coverage with other physician colleagues.
