Job summary

KidStrong in Edmonton is seeking a part-time Receptionist / Lobby Coach to welcome families, manage front-desk duties and support the Amazing Trial Experience. You’ll greet guests, help with enrollment, maintain a warm lobby, and coordinate with coaches to ensure a smooth transition from arrival to class.

Prior customer service experience in family or youth programs is valued. This role emphasizes reliability, strong communication, and a friendly, energetic presence in a busy children's fitness

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, reception, hospitality, or administration is preferred.
• Ability to greet families warmly and manage front-of-house operations.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to obtain/maintain First Aid and CPR certification.
• Background check completed per KidStrong policy.

Responsibilities

• Greet children and parents as they arrive and create a welcoming lobby.
• Maintain a warm, professional lobby environment and manage routine inquiries.
• Support trial experiences and enrollment process.
• Coordinate with coaches and leadership to ensure a smooth transition from lobby to floor.
• Handle administrative tasks and maintain accurate member information.
• Support center readiness for classes and events.
