Position Summary
BCIT’s School of Business and Media is seeking a temporary, full-time (1.0 FTE ) Faculty from September 2025 to late May 2026 to teach in the marketing management diploma and provide related service teaching to other diplomas and degrees in the School in the areas of marketing essentials, sales skills, entrepreneurship, and business consulting. Courses are taught on weekdays, between 8:30 am and 5:30 pm, in person and on campus in Burnaby.

The hiring committee is seeking an industry expert with a passion for teaching and learning and strong commitment to ensuring students develop applied skills and specialized knowledge. Applicants should have 8+ years of experience in sales and marketing roles including developing marketing strategy, developing and deploying sales strategy, new venture creation, and business development.
The right candidate will demonstrate strong self-direction and leadership, the ability to adapt to new working environments quickly and self-sufficiently, and a commitment to the next generation of marketers and professional salespeople (as evidenced by mentoring or similar experience). They will also have experience in coaching, teaching, or managing teams on projects related to marketing strategy development and execution.

Salary Range
Salary Range Salary Range: $65,045 - $113,545 per annum.
Additional Salary Information
Salary prorated based on percentage and term of appointment. Salary based on education, experience and placement criteria as outlined in the Collective Agreement.
