Job summary

BCIT's School of Health Sciences seeks a temporary, part-time (0.8 FTE) Faculty member to join our Critical Care Nursing team in the Bachelor of Science, Specialty Nursing program. The role focuses on delivering high-quality education and supporting student success in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Applicants should have five years of recent clinical CCN experience, a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred), and teaching-ready credentials.

Qualifications

• Five years recent clinical experience in Critical Care Nursing; some tertiary care experience required.
• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred (one degree must be in Nursing).
• Advanced Specialty Nursing Certificate or CNA Certification preferred.
• Must possess a participatory, learner-centered philosophy.
• Excellent communication, teamwork and leadership skills
• Computer literacy required, and educational technology preferred.
• Ability to travel.

Position Summary

BCIT’s School of Health Sciences is seeking a temporary, part-time (0.8 FTE ) Faculty member to join our Critical Care Nursing team in the Bachelor of Science, Specialty Nursing program.

Salary Range

Salary Range Salary range: $69,006 - $120,460 per annum.

Additional Salary Information

Salary prorated based on percentage and term of appointment. Salary based on education, experience and placement criteria as outlined in the Collective Agreement.
