Job summary

ROCKWOOL International A/S in Milton, ON seeks a Factory Operational Excellence Coach to drive ROPEX implementation, lead Kaizen events, and promote a culture of continuous improvement on the shop floor. You will train management, map value streams, lead Obeya meetings, and anchor ROPEX tools to achieve factory KPIs, working with HR and the OPCO/ROPEX community.

The role requires an Industrial Engineering background, 3+ years in lean environments, and Lean Six Sigma knowledge, with a strong

Qualifications

• Industrial Engineering degree or equivalent.
• +3 years’ experience in process/industrial/engineering roles.
• Lean Manufacturing experience with proven results.
• Strong analytical skills for problem solving.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Experience establishing Obeya Management System.
• Leadership and change management capabilities.
• Lean Six Sigma knowledge/certification.
• Skilled in training, facilitation, and coaching.
• Strong communication across levels.

Responsibilities

• Plan, facilitate and train the factory management team in ROPEX and leadership workshops.
• Strategy formulation and deployment.
• Obeya for management and shift leaders.
• Value stream mapping and improvement weeks.
• Assist in training workshops.
• Leadership, coaching and change management.
• Machine boards, 5S, standard work, SMED, TPM, future tools.
• Lead ROPEX tool implementation and anchoring in the factory.
• Ensure ROPEX progresses are reported on the ROPEX scoreboard.
