Eagle Builders LP is seeking a Facility Welder-Fabricator to join our maintenance team in Blackfalds, AB. You will perform welding, fabrication and repair work that keeps our precast concrete operations running smoothly.

We value strong problem-solving skills, safe work habits and a detail-oriented approach. This is a full-time, day-to-day role with extended shifts during busy periods and regular wage reviews.

Qualifications

• Pre-employment assessment required.
• Valid Class 5 license and reliable transportation.
• 3rd/4th Year Registered Apprentice Welder or Journeyman Welder.
• Experience welding, fabrication or related hands-on work.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding, fabrication and repair tasks to support plant operations.
• Read and interpret drawings, specifications, diagrams and schematics.
• Operate welding tools and facility equipment safely and efficiently.
• Conduct A-frame repairs, deck chamfer repairs and weld plate modifications.

Facility Welder-Fabricator

Position Summary

As a Facility Welder-Fabricator at Eagle Builders, you'll perform a variety of welding, fabrication and repair work that supports the maintenance and operation of equipment in our precast concrete manufacturing facility. This hands‑on role requires sound trade knowledge, strong problem‑solving abilities, and a commitment to quality and safety.

What You'll Do

• Complete a variety of welding, fabrication, and repair tasks to support plant operations
• Read and interpret drawings, specifications, diagrams, and schematics
• Operate welding tools and facility equipment safely and efficiently
• Perform A-frame repairs, deck chamfer repairs, hard surfacing, weld plate modifications, and general fabrication
• Maintain welding equipment and keep the shop clean, organized and ready for work
• Collaborate effectively with maintenance, production, and other team members
• Plan, organize, and prioritize work to support efficient plant operations
• Work closely with maintenance leadership to troubleshoot issues and complete repairs

Requirements

• Successful interview candidates will be required to complete a pre-employment assessment
• Valid Class 5 license and reliable transportation
• 3rd/4th Year Registered Apprentice Welder or Journeyman Welder
• Previous welding, fabrication, or related hands‑on experience
• Ability to perform accurate welding and fabrication work in a fast-paced facility
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, diagrams and schematics
• Available to work 10-12 hours/day Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays
• Physically able to perform demanding work for extended periods
• Comfortable working around active manufacturing equipment and production areas
• Able to work safely in a facility environment
• Strong English communication skills (verbal and written)

Assets

• Manufacturing or industrial maintenance experience
• CWB welding certification
• Experience with equipment repair or hard surfacing
