Job summary

Columbia Bible College in Abbotsford, BC is seeking a Facility Services Associate to help maintain clean, safe, and welcoming spaces across the campus. You will perform custodial tasks, assist with light maintenance, support events and rentals, and help with seasonal facility preparation to welcome students, staff, faculty, and guests.

Qualifications

• Experience in custodial, janitorial, or housekeeping services.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Occasional outdoor work and after-hours events.
• Experience in campus or institutional settings is an asset.

Job description

As our Facility Services Associate, you’ll help care for the Columbia Bible College campus through custodial work, light maintenance, event and rental support, and seasonal facility preparation. If you’re dependable, detail-oriented, enjoy practical hands‑on work, and find satisfaction in a job well done, this is an opportunity to use your skills in meaningful work that directly supports the students, staff, faculty, and guests who learn, serve, worship, and gather at CBC.

• Previous experience in custodial, janitorial, or housekeeping services, with related training or campus/institutional experience considered an asset.
• The ability to handle the physical demands of the role, including extended periods of standing and walking, lifting up to 50 lbs, and occasional work outdoors or outside regular hours.
