U-Haul is seeking a Facility Maintenance Technician in Edmonton to inspect, maintain and build new buildings across sites. The role includes general maintenance, installation, repair and service, plus semiannual roof inspections and collaboration with fellow technicians.
Ideal candidates will have electrical, A/C, HVAC, plumbing or landscaping experience, a valid driver’s license and may need D.O.T certification (sponsorship possible). Must be 18+ and ready for on-site work.

Electrical experience, Roofing experience, Painting experience, and landscaping experience are all assets.

Work Environment:
The work involves moderate risks or discomforts which require special safety precautions, e.g. working around moving parts, machines, fumes or irritant chemicals. May be required to use protective clothing or gear such as masks, goggles, gloves or shields.
Physical Demands:
The work requires some physical exertion such as long periods both indoors and outdoors while remaining stationary, traversing spaces, repositioning to reach and use tools and moving a minimum of 50 lbs assisted or unassisted.
