Facility Integrated Pest Management Technician

Position Overview

This is a part-time position working approximately 24 hours per week. As the Facility IPM Technician, you will implement our facility-wide pest prevention program, ensuring high standards of pest control, food safety, and regulatory compliance. You will collaborate with various departments to ensure the success of the program.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead organic pest prevention initiatives.
• Support all divisions in pest prevention efforts.
• Monitor pheromone traps, pest, rodent, and mosquito control throughout the facility, offsite storage, and processing areas.
• Participate in pest identification training and execute industry-standard corrective actions.
• Record pest data accurately for trend analysis and corrective measures.
• Document all pesticide usage.

Requirements

• Knowledge of organic pest prevention, rodent and bird control, sanitation practices, and organic pesticides.
• Preferred experience in grain harvesting, storage, and milling.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Basic knowledge of formula calculations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid CA driver’s license or state of residence license, meeting auto insurance insurability standards.
