A leading company in natural ingredients is seeking a Facility Coordinator to maintain and ensure compliance within their facility in Port Colborne. This role requires oversight of maintenance tasks, safety compliance, and coordination of internal and external contractors, providing a safe and efficient work environment for all employees.

Your tasks
• Ensure compliance with all health & safety regulations, policies and procedures
• Promote and support safety and quality programs as an active member of the Leadership Group
• Uphold safety reporting standards and drive continuous improvements in workplace safety
• Maintain and implement lockout/tagout procedures daily, ensuring completion of safe work permits and required documentation before commencing any work
• Coordinate routine maintenance and emergency repairs across plant buildings and grounds.
• Liaise with external contractors, vendors, and service providers to ensure timely, high quality work
• Assist with project planning and facility upgrades.
• Respond to internal service requests and manage work order tracking through CMMS.
• Conduct regular facility inspections to identify and address safety hazards or maintenance needs.
• Coordinate seasonal and weather-related preparations (e.g., snow removal, HVAC transitions).
• All other job duties assigned by management.
Your profile
• Ontario Secondary School graduation diploma
• Post-secondary education in facilities management, engineering technology, building operations, or related field.
• 2-4 years’ experience in facility coordination or industrial maintenance support.
• Good skills in SAP and Microsoft Office
• Working knowledge of building systems (HVAC, fire systems, plumbing)
• Detail-oriented and able to work in a team environment as well as independently
• Ability to recognize process improvement opportunities
• Confident, collaborative personality
• Helpful and reliable work ethic to support a team-based environment
Your future
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager the Facility Coordinator is responsible for the maintenance of buildings, grounds and mobile equipment at the site. He/she will play a key role in maintaining a safe, compliant, and highly functional environment for our employees and equipment. This role involves coordinating preventative maintenance, overseeing contractors, and supporting daily operational needs across our facility.
