Parrish & Heimbecker, Limited in Kerwood, Ontario is hiring a Facility Assistant II to support grain movement, sampling, and overall facility operations. You will handle loading/unloading shipments, sampling, grading, and operating equipment with care and precision.

Responsibilities include basic blending of fertilizer, maintaining clean and safe work areas, and delivering strong customer service while adhering to safety and regulatory standards.

Qualificações

• 2+ years’ experience in a general labour job, preferably in agricultural and/or farming.
• Class G driver’s license is required.
• Ability to lift heavy materials repeatedly (up to 50 lbs.).
• Ability to work in environments with dust and allergens.
• Ability to work at heights.
• Flexible work schedule.

• Collecting, testing, and recording grain samples.
• Exercising competency in grading commodities.
• Operate machinery with confidence and precision.
• Perform basic mathematical calculations to blend fertilizer.
• Regular facility maintenance & housekeeping.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe & compliant working environment.
• Performing exceptional customer service duties.
• Other duties as required.

Your Role

As Facility Assistant II, you will be responsible for carrying out the required duties involved in the movement and sampling of grain, and the overall execution of processes involved in the operation of the facility.

Day to Day

• Contributing to the movement of grain by loading/unloading shipments
• Collecting, testing, and recording grain samples
• Exercising competency in grading commodities
• Operate machinery with confidence and precision
• Perform basic mathematical calculations to accurately blend fertilizer
• Regular facility maintenance & housekeeping
