About The Role

As a CBRE Account Operations Manager, you will direct and oversee the maintenance management staff and safety programs for small to medium-sized facilities or properties.

This role is part of the Contract Quality Management function, responsible for managing the delivery of contractual services to meet requirements.

What You’ll Do

  1. Provide formal supervision to employees, monitor staff training and development, conduct performance evaluations, and oversee recruitment and hiring.
  2. Coordinate daily team activities, establish work schedules, assign tasks, cross-train staff, and set/deadline tracking. Mentor and coach team members.
  3. Promote organizational capabilities and identify sales opportunities to potential clients.
  4. Track vendor performance on outsourced service contracts, verify pricing, and ensure service levels meet standards.
  5. Manage account programs to ensure safety and compliance with relevant codes and regulations.
  6. Assist in developing operational service delivery solutions, including documented playbooks and account operation plans.
  7. Evaluate utility consumption rates and propose cost reduction initiatives.
  8. Monitor maintenance effectiveness, ensuring work completion under KPIs.
  9. Conduct client account inspections, document reports, and address issues with clients.
  10. Lead by example, embody CBRE RISE values, and influence stakeholders to reach agreements.
  11. Apply disciplinary knowledge to achieve team and departmental goals.
  12. Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve operational issues within existing systems and processes.

What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred, with 3-5 years of relevant experience; experience and education combined may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Experience in staffing, training, coaching, performance management, and retention is preferred.
  • Ability to communicate complex information, set performance expectations, and resolve problems effectively.
  • Leadership skills to motivate teams and improve quality, efficiency, and effectiveness.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong organizational skills and a curious mindset.
  • Intermediate math skills, including calculating percentages, discounts, and commissions.
