Job summary

Bell is seeking a Management-level professional to lead day-to-day operations and maintenance of critical building systems for data centers and offices in Kamloops, BC. You will supervise technical staff and contractors, coordinate incident response, and ensure compliant, efficient operations.

The role emphasizes budgeting, vendor management, and energy efficiency, with on-site work and a strong emphasis on safety and reliability. French language knowledge is a plus for Quebec postings.

Qualifications

• Electrical/Mechanical Engineer or Technologist with related building expertise.
• 3–5 years of operations management experience in critical facilities or major industrial facilities.
• Strong troubleshooting, detail orientation and process orientation.
• Strong time management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operation and maintenance of building systems for data centers and administrative areas.
• Manage preventive maintenance and repairs by technical staff and contractors.
• Supervise staff; ensure services provided quickly and professionally.
• Coordinate incident response and business recovery.
• Maintain equipment and building documentation.
• Manage budgets; review investments and replacement programs.
• Negotiate contracts with procurement.
