Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated is seeking a Facilities Manager in Edmonton to lead the facilities team, coordinate with the account manager, and ensure high-quality service delivery for a key client. The role requires supervising staff, managing vendors, and upholding safety and regulatory standards.

You will oversee maintenance programs, drive cost savings, and maintain strong client communications while ensuring service levels and KPI targets are met in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years’ supervisory experience in facilities management or related field.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, organization and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of federal, provincial, and local codes for facilities planning, design, construction and maintenance.
  • Financial acumen; leverage technology to maintain and enhance maintenance while driving cost savings.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with Account Manager to execute the vision of the facilities team.
  • Ensure safety procedures are followed and client informed of changes.
  • Oversee site and contractor performance to protect and improve property value.
  • Inspect sites and monitor preventive maintenance programs for performance improvements.
  • Manage after-hours contacts and incident investigations, with root-cause analysis.
