Job summary

Horizon Health Network in the Saint John area seeks a Saint John Facilities Management Supervisor to lead facilities operations at Saint John Regional Hospital. The role requires a minimum of 7 years in facilities supervision and a two-year Engineering Technology diploma with NB certification, plus proficiency with MS Office and CMMS.

The supervisor reports to the Manager of Facilities Management and will oversee work orders, preventive maintenance, renovations, and contractor coordination while

Qualifications

• Worked in facilities management or construction in a supervisory role for a minimum of 7 years.
• Must possess 2 year diploma in Engineering Technology (Civil or Electronics) and be certified with the New Brunswick Society of Certified Engineering Technicians and Technologists.

Responsibilities

• Assigning, supervising, and coordinating work via work order system.
• Monitoring preventive maintenance program.
• Supervising internal renovation & construction projects.
• Liaising with contractors and other stakeholders.
• Reviewing contractors daily work plans and monitoring building access.
• Communicating with other departments to resolve problems and expedite work.
• Evaluating and recommending supplies and equipment purchases.
• Participating in the employment interviewing and performance appraisal processes.
