Job summary

Horizon Health Network in the Saint John area seeks a Saint John Facilities Management Supervisor to lead facilities operations at Saint John Regional Hospital. The role requires a minimum of 7 years in facilities supervision and a two-year Engineering Technology diploma with NB certification, plus proficiency with MS Office and CMMS.

Qualifications

• Worked in facilities management or construction in a supervisory role for a minimum of 7 years.
• Must possess 2 year diploma in Engineering Technology (Civil or Electronics) and be certified with the New Brunswick Society of Certified Engineering Technicians and Technologists.

Responsibilities

• Assigning, supervising, and coordinating work via work order system.
• Monitoring preventive maintenance program.
• Supervising internal renovation & construction projects.
• Liaising with contractors and other stakeholders.
• Reviewing contractors daily work plans and monitoring building access.

Who you are

You have a worked in Facilities management or Construction in a supervisory role for a minimum of 7 years. You have experience in building infrastructure maintenance, preventative maintenance on building systems and equipment as well as experience in renovation / construction project supervision. You are familiar with computerized work order systems and proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Project Management and Construction Management would be an asset in this role.

Must possess 2 year diploma in Engineering Technology (Civil or Electronics) and be certified with the New Brunswick Society of Certified Engineering Technicians and Technologists (a licensed Journeyman tradesperson with a Provincial Certificate of qualification issued under the Occupational Certification act may also be considered with appropriate, relevant experience).
