Job summary

Shared Health-Soins Communs is seeking a Maintenance Worker for Meadowood Manor in Winnipeg. The role involves routine maintenance, repairs, and safe operation of building systems within a patient care environment.

The successful candidate will join the Maintenance team, work from the Meadowood Manor site, and support daily operations with 7.75-hour days and weekend coverage. A current police check and Adult Abuse Registry are required.

Qualifications

• Criminal record check and Adult Abuse Registry required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Able to read/write English at Grade 12 level.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on building and equipment.
• Carry out repairs to plumbing, electrical, and facilities as needed.
• Order supplies and coordinate with contractors when required.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Participate in fire drills and safety programs.
