Job summary

BGIS is seeking a Maintenance Team Lead in Canada to supervise Technicians delivering preventative and corrective maintenance for assigned facilities. You will ensure work follows established processes, safety standards, and environmental health requirements while performing hands-on maintenance as needed.

You will collaborate with BGIS departments to support integrated operations, lead a team, and drive service excellence for tenants and clients across sites.

Qualifications

• Experience leading maintenance teams and coordinating safety protocols.
• Background in facility operations with emphasis on HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Strong communication and client-service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Oversees technicians’ activities to ensure safe, compliant maintenance.
• Provides technical guidance and troubleshooting for building systems.
• Coordinates facility-related projects and vendor interactions.
• Manages safety training, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
• Monitors and documents work orders, ensuring timely completion.
• Assists in development of preventative maintenance programs.
• Ensures adherence to BGIS processes and industry standards.
• Maintains strong client relationships and responsive service.
