BGIS is seeking a Maintenance Team Leader - Static for its Sherbrooke, QC facility. You will lead a team of Technicians delivering preventative and corrective maintenance, and on-demand services to ensure uptime and asset integrity.

The role requires strong leadership, hands-on maintenance experience with mechanical and electrical systems, and a commitment to safety. On-call duties and collaboration with clients are essential aspects of this on-site position.

Qualifications

• Facility operations and maintenance work experience.
• Previous people leadership experience preferred.
• High school diploma plus trades training and certification.
• Ability to lead a team of individuals.
• Adherence to processes and practices relating to facility operations and maintenance.
• Ability to maintain and repair building mechanical and electrical equipment and systems.
• Troubleshooting and resolution of building systems.
• Knowledge of fire, life safety and building codes.
• Environmental, health and safety mindset for safe work.
• Strong client-service orientation with urgency.
• English is required to deal with English-speaking customers.

Responsibilities

• Leads a team of technicians and assigns work.
• Monitors progress and timely completion.
• Coaches and trains direct reports and provides performance input.
• Oversees facility maintenance, inspections and system monitoring.
• Performs preventative and corrective maintenance on mechanical/electrical systems.
• Maintains work order records and documentation in the CMMS.
• Coordinates preventive maintenance programs and safety meetings.
• Participates in facility-related projects.
• Responds to on-demand service requests and emergencies.
• On-call for shifts and standby duties.
