Job summary

Apple Self Storage is seeking a MaintenancePerson to keep our facilities clean, safe, and functioning smoothly. You will perform essential upkeep, minor repairs, and seasonal tasks to maintain a professional appearance and operations across our properties.

The role involves hands-on maintenance, safety awareness, and the ability to work with site teams on daily and seasonal tasks, including some weekend or after-hours work as needed.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in maintenance, janitorial work, landscaping, or a similar role.
• Comfortable with physically demanding tasks (lifting, climbing ladders, outdoor work).
• Availability for weekday work, with some flexibility for occasional weekend or after-hours needs.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation may be required based on site location.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Cleanliness – Ensure offices, washrooms, hallways, and driveways are clean, sanitized, and presentable.
• General Facility Maintenance Tasks – Fix doors, replace light bulbs, lubricate locks, and keep the exterior tidy and accessible to customers.
• Identify Safety & Security Issues – Report hazards or facility issues to the Site Manager and stay alert after hours.
• Support Site Teams – Prioritize daily and seasonal maintenance tasks including light landscaping and snow clearing.
