Job summary

Campus Living Centres is seeking a Maintenance Services Representative to help keep the building safe and in good working order. Responsibilities include daily checks, preventive maintenance, and on-site support for contractors and staff.

Qualified candidates will have a High School Diploma, and preferably a college diploma with knowledge of electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems, plus the ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain detailed records.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of commercial electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems.
• Must be competent with general physical plant repairs.
• Positive attitude towards work and learning.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Daily checks of the building and equipment.
• Greasing bearings, replacing filters and belts on equipment as per maintenance schedules.
• Check utility meters daily to monitor consumption.
• Check standpipes and fire panel daily.
• Check all fire extinguishers are at proper levels.
• Keep detailed records of all maintenance and inspections.
• Any other preventive maintenance as required.
