Job summary

Dealermine is seeking a Facility Maintenance Coordinator for Whitewater Mountain Resort. You will help execute maintenance, repairs, and inspections of resort facilities, ensuring compliance with safety, health, and government regulations, and coordinating with staff.

This full-time, year-round role requires 3-5 years building maintenance, a high school diploma, and experience with tools. You will manage preventive programs, oversee contractors, track budgets, and maintain records while pursuing

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3-5 years building maintenance experience.
• Experience with tools and equipment required.
• Red Seal trades considered an asset.
• Class 5 driver’s license required.
• OFA Level 1 or equivalent an asset.

Responsibilities

• Execute routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections of lodges and other resort infrastructure.
• Execute preventive maintenance programs to proactively identify issues before they affect safety and guest experience.
• Collaborate with department supervisors to prioritize maintenance activities and allocate resources.
• Maintain organized work sites during projects and ensure prompt cleanup to reduce hazards.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards and take prompt action.
• Manage inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies, ensuring proper use and procurement.
• Coordinate and oversee work of external contractors and vendors when specialized expertise is needed.
• Understand and monitor the maintenance budget and ensure cost-effective resource use.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for maintenance activities and equipment history.
• Ensure compliance with government regulations and perform required reporting on schedule.
• Develop and monitor KPI related to utility systems and energy efficiency.
• Promote safety practices and a culture of compliance among maintenance staff.
• Embrace Whitewater’s mission and values; perform other duties as assigned.
