Chartwell Retirement Residences is seeking a Maintenance Aide to help keep our residence safe, functional, and well-maintained. You’ll work on rooms, furniture, fixtures, and outdoor spaces, supporting daily operations and resident comfort.

You’ll follow safety rules, perform minor repairs and painting, and prepare suites for new residents. A team player with good communication will thrive here, in a warm, inclusive workplace.

Qualifications

• Secondary school education or equivalent experience.
• Previous maintenance experience and ability to use equipment safely.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills with staff, residents, and vendors.
• Organized and able to keep work areas safe, clean, and efficient.
• Committed to providing excellent customer service.

Responsabilités

• Help with regular maintenance tasks and keep records up to date.
• Repair and maintain furniture, fixtures, outdoor spaces, and common areas.
• Respond quickly to maintenance requests and report issues as needed.
• Prepare suites for new residents, including small repairs and painting.
• Assist with preparing suites for new occupancy, including minor carpentry and painting.
• Keep supplies organized and follow all health, safety, and infection control rules.
