The Facilities Engineer - Manufacturing & Industrial Engineering is responsible for supporting the development and implementation of a new greenfield manufacturing facility. Reporting to the Project Manager, this role serves as a key technical link between facility development, manufacturing process design, industrial engineering, and manufacturing readiness.
The Facilities Engineer translates product, program, production capacity, and operational requirements into practical manufacturing concepts and facility solutions. The role ensures that the new facility is designed to support safe, efficient, scalable, and cost-effective production.
Working closely with Engineering, Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, Maintenance, EHS, Finance, and external engineering and construction partners, the Facilities Engineer supports the planning, design, construction, commissioning, and production-readiness phases of the project.
The role requires a strong understanding of manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering, facility planning, process development, capacity modelling, manufacturing line design, and capital project execution. The position also works within a controlled-goods manufacturing environment and must ensure applicable regulatory, security, safety, quality, and environmental requirements are incorporated into facility and manufacturing solutions.
