Job summary

IMT Precision is seeking an Industrial Millwright to install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair a range of industrial machinery in a manufacturing setting. You will ensure safe, efficient operation while performing preventative maintenance and responding quickly to breakdowns.

The ideal candidate has a 433A Red Seal, at least 3 years of Millwright experience, and demonstrates strong problem-solving, communication and teamwork in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Industrial Millwright certification (433A) mandatory.
• Minimum 3 years of Millwright experience in manufacturing.
• Ability to work at heights and in noisy, harsh environments.
• Experience with CNC equipment, robotics, hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Strong troubleshooting and preventive maintenance skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial machinery.
• Ensure equipment operates safely, efficiently and reliably.
• Perform preventive maintenance and respond to breakdowns promptly.
• Read blueprints and schematics; implement improvements as needed.

Position Summary

The Industrial Millwright is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of a wide range of industrial machinery and equipment within a manufacturing environment. This role ensures machinery operates safely, efficiently, and reliably through preventive maintenance and quick response to breakdowns. The Millwright applies technical expertise in mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, robotics, and CNC equipment to support production requirements while upholding company safety and quality standards.

About You

• Work independently with minimal supervision
• Handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Perform precise work within tight tolerances
• Work at heights and in potentially noisy, dirty, or chemical-exposed environments
• Adapt quickly to changing priorities and unexpected breakdowns

Education & Experience

• Education: 433A Industrial Millwright Mechanic (Red Seal) - Mandatory
• Experience: Minimum 3 years experience as a Millwright in a manufacturing setting

Knowledge

• Mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
• CNC machinery, lathes, gearboxes, induction heating, robotics, and press operations
• Blueprint and schematic interpretation
• Preventative maintenance programs and troubleshooting techniques

Skills

• Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
• Proficiency with power tools, hoists, and lift trucks
• Effective organizational and time management skills
• Computer literacy (Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word)
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
