Job summary

Suncrest College invites applications for the Facilitator, Skills for Success in the Moving Towards Employment program. This is a Part-Time, Term position (total contract: 493 hours) starting as soon as possible until February 26, 2027, in Kamsack, SK.

Under the supervision of the Senior Coordinator, Community & Employment Programs, you will develop, coordinate, deliver and facilitate the classroom component of various programs.

Qualifications

  • Two-year post-secondary diploma or equivalent in Human or Social Services or Behavioral Sciences field or a journeyperson trade certificate.
  • Two years demonstrated experience providing leaners with the skills required to provide career information, to effectively liaise with employers or funding agencies and to develop needs-based approaches to workshop development and delivery within Essential Skills programming.
  • Demonstrated experience handling confidential and sensitive information.
  • Satisfactory Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check required.
  • Demonstrated experience working in a cross-cultural environment.
  • Valid Saskatchewan Driver's License.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, coordinate, deliver and facilitate the classroom component of various programs.
  • Help build workforce skills within participants.
