Job summary

OpenAire, Inc. in Mississauga is seeking Aluminum Fabricators for a full-time role with day and afternoon shifts. You will join a growing team dedicated to high-quality aluminum retractable roofing systems.

You will manufacture components, read shop drawings, use precision measuring equipment, and verify parts meet specifications while maintaining a safe, organized workspace. Two years of aluminum fabrication experience and strong teamwork are required.

Qualifications

• Two years experience with aluminum fabrication in a custom manufacturing environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with attention to detail.
• Able to lift 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Flexible to work any shift (day or afternoon).
• Team player with positive attitude and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture components of custom aluminum retractable roofing systems and skylights.
• Use machine shop measuring equipment.
• Read and interpret shop drawings and calculations for fabrication.
• Verify components meet specifications using appropriate tools.
• Maintain a safe and organized work area.

Job description

We have an immediate need for AluminumFabricatorsto complement our growing team. This is a full time position withday andafternoon shifts available.

The key duties will include (but will not be limited to):

• Manufacture component of custom aluminum retractable roofing systems and skylights
• Use machine shop measuring equipment
• Understand shop drawings and calculations inherent to fabrication
• Ensure all components meet specifications using appropriate tools for verification
• Maintain a safe and organized workarea

The candidate must also possess the following qualifications:

• Two years experience with Aluminum Fabrication in a custom manufacturing environment
• Possess strong communication and interpersonal skill with attention to detail
• Good work ethic and flexibility to work any shift a must
• Aptto work in a fast paced environment and meet deadlines
• Abilityto lift 50 lbs and stand for long periods of time
• Team player with positive attitude
• Follow company Health & Safety policy and practice safe work habits to protect self and others
