WHAT IS THE JOB?
We are currently looking for Housekeeping Supervisors.
Location: Nunavut
Language: English
Rotation: 14 days on / 14 days off (Fly-in / Fly-out)
Schedule: 12-hour day or night shifts
Salary: Competitive compensation
Departure Airports: Mirabel and Val-d'Or
Transportation: Air travel provided; valid government-issued identification required.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
- Provide supervision, training, guidance, and support to all housekeeping staff and janitors.
- Demonstrate positive leadership and set an example of expected workplace standards.
- Schedule housekeeping staff while adhering to budget requirements.
- Manage inventory and order supplies within budget guidelines.
- Assist the Camp Manager with required reporting documentation, including timesheets and incident reports.
- Participate in the shutdown of facilities as required, including but not limited to inventory reporting and general cleaning activities.
- Observe and report any maintenance issues or damages within the work area to management, using the client's work order process.
- Conduct inspections and follow up on the work performed by housekeeping staff.
- Comply with all WHMIS (Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System), HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points), and food safety standards.
- Ensure all tasks are completed safely and promptly report any incidents or concerns. See it, own it, act on it.
- Perform any other related duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in housekeeping or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a housekeeping supervisory role.
- WHMIS (Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System) certification required.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and scheduling software.
- Previous experience working in remote locations within the natural resources and/or construction industries is considered an asset.
- Valid driver’s license required.
