Job summary

Tilray is seeking an Extraction Associate in Leamington, ON, to perform daily production tasks across ethanol and butane extraction, crystallization, distillation, encapsulation and more. The role focuses on safety, efficiency and quality, with potential growth to Extraction Technician roles after training.

Ideal candidates have an undergraduate science/engineering degree, strong math and software skills, and the ability to handle hazardous materials and up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree in science, engineering, engineering technology, or related field.
  • Strong mathematical and computational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out daily production tasks across multiple work centers (ethanol/butane extraction, crystallization, distillation, encapsulation, etc.).
  • Produce cannabis extracts and derivatives while maintaining safety and quality.
  • Adhere to SOPs and Good Production Practices; report incidents and discrepancies.
  • Track inventory and sample products for analytical testing.

In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out daily production ta sks across multiple work centers, including but not limited to: ethanol extraction , butane extraction , crystallization, distillation, encapsulation, dry sift ing , hash pressing, dilutions, and topical s . You will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient operations while maintaining high quality standards . Successful candidates will have the opportunity for career growth , with potential promotions to Extraction Technician and Senior Extraction Technician following training .
