Job summary

Desjardins is seeking an expert administrative advisor to lead highly complex strategic initiatives, liaising with stakeholders and representing the organization on external partnerships. You will guide cross-functional teams and provide senior-level expertise across a broad set of initiatives.

The role requires eight years of experience, a related Bachelor's degree, and fluency in French with advanced English, enabling interaction with English-speaking partners and clients.

As an expert administrative advisor, you assist with highly complex strategic initiatives and serve as subject matter leader. You lead and influence large-scale organizational and market initiatives while liaising with stakeholders to understand their needs and challenges. In addition to being the business manager, you represent your specialty on initiatives requiring high-level expertise in a complex field. You’re responsible for strategic, highly innovative, cross-sector projects and initiatives that are operationally and conceptually complex. They require comprehensive analysis and understanding of the organization and line of business. A strategic mindset and organizational savvy are therefore essential. Coordination is critical, so you frequently interact with stakeholders working in a wide range of other fields. You serve as expert advisor and subject matter expert for senior management and decision-making bodies. You represent and negotiate on behalf of Desjardins and enter the organization into agreements with external partners. More specifically, you will be required to:

  • Complete strategic assessments, develop scenarios and solve unique and complex problems that impact the entire organization

What You Bring To The Table
