Job summary

NAIT is seeking a Manager, Experiential Learning & Career Education to lead Career Education, Employer Relations, and Work-Integrated Learning Operations within an integrated service model. You will develop leaders, align processes, and drive sustainable operations across a learner-centered ecosystem at a Canadian post-secondary institution.

The role reports to the Associate Director, Academic Partnerships & Experiential Learning and emphasizes coaching, planning, and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Minimum five (5) years of progressive leadership experience, including experience leading leaders and developing high-performing teams.
• Demonstrated success building and improving teams, processes, frameworks, operating models, or service delivery approaches in a complex environment.
• Strong organizational, planning, and change leadership skills, with the ability to translate vision and strategy into practical and sustainable operations.
• Experience in experiential learning, career education, student services, workforce development, employer engagement, post-secondary education, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship to a team of supervisors responsible for Career Education, Employer Relations, and Work-Integrated Learning Operations.
• Lead the integration of Career Education, Employer Relations, and Work-Integrated Learning Operations into a coordinated service model.
• Partner with Academic Schools, academic leaders, employers, and institutional stakeholders to support experiential learning objectives.
• Support workforce planning, resource allocation, budget management, and operational planning activities.
