Job summary

Beyond Group in Calgary, Alberta is seeking an Experienced Firestop Technician to install and prep firestopping materials on commercial projects. This full-time role requires hands-on work and the ability to work overtime and weekends as needed.

You should have at least 1 year of firestop installation experience, familiarity with Hilti, STI, or 3M systems, and valid safety tickets. A team-focused, safety-conscious mindset is essential in our hands-on, family-like work environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year installing firestopping and understanding of different systems.
• Certifications in Hilti, STI or 3M are assets.
• First Aid, Fall Arrest, Lift training are beneficial

Responsibilities

• Prepping and installing firestopping materials.
• Handling materials in a physical role.

Who We're Looking For:

Beyond Thermal (a division of Beyond Group) is looking for a qualified Firestopping Installer. Successful applicants must have a min of 1 year installing and understanding of different systems. Holding valid certification in Hilti, STI or 3M is an asset. Tickets such as First Aid, Fall Arrest, Lift training would also be beneficial

The Firestopping installer will be active in prepping and installing of firestopping materials. They will be handling materials in a physical role.

The Firestopping Installer will report directly to the Firestopping Coordinator. Availability to work overtime and weekends is essential.

What We Offer:

Compensation range of $30/hr to $40/hr, for hours worked, and will be based on industry experience. We offer a number of extra benefits as listed below, but may be subject to a probationary waiting period.
