Job summary

Cybera, a not-for-profit leveraging digital technologies, is seeking an Executive Operations & Board Lead in Calgary to coordinate Board activities, executive initiatives, and internal operations. You will shape governance processes, enable CEO priorities, and drive cross-department alignment while supporting external stakeholders.

The role emphasizes strategic support, board administration, and office management in a hybrid environment with strong focus on communication and stakeholder

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive experience supporting executive teams or board governance, ideally within non-profit/tech/startup.
• Strong ability to translate organizational goals into daily operations and stakeholder communications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; professional interaction with high-profile stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate Board of Directors activities, including meeting packages and governance workflows.
• Provide strategic executive support and alignment of CEO priorities across departments.
• Oversee office management, events, and internal communications; support Edmonton site as needed.
• Draft executive communications and manage stakeholder updates for diverse audiences.
