Job summary

Indigenous Climate Action seeks an Executive Manager to support the Executive Director and Leadership Team in coordinating governance and logistics for ICA's Board, NSC, and community events. This remote, full-time role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to manage crises and diverse teams.

Qualifications

  • 5-7 years prior administrative assistant and/or executive consulting experience.
  • Excellent at organizing emails, setting priorities, and creating timelines.
  • Typing efficiency and digital filing proficiency.
  • Strong with Google Suite tools for collaboration and scheduling.
  • Facilitation, event planning and logistics coordination.
  • Basic budgeting skills and ability to review budgets.
  • Ability to work with Indigenous-led organizations and diverse teams.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate governance activities for ICA Board, NSC and events.
  • Support executive leadership with governance policies and reporting.
  • Serve as primary contact for ICA Board logistics and communications.
  • Lead planning of quarterly NSC newsletters and meetings.
  • Develop and track NSC hours and engagement activities.
  • Collaborate on confidential admin support and travel coordination.
  • Assist in strategic planning and evaluation for Stewardship Pod.
  • Support funding applications and annual reporting needs.
