Job summary

Connect Consulting Inc. is seeking a Senior Project Director to lead high-value utility infrastructure projects, including multi-site substations and long-span transmission initiatives.

The role requires guiding EPC programs with multiple subcontractors, regulatory stakeholders, and remote-site logistics. This senior leader will oversee safe, quality delivery while protecting financial performance, managing risk, and maintaining client confidence.

Qualifications

• Over 10 years of project leadership in utility, infrastructure, or large construction.
• Experience managing multi-site EPC projects with regulatory oversight.
• Strong contract and commercial management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership for complex utility construction projects from mobilization through closeout.
• Direct multidisciplinary field execution across electrical, civil, and structural scopes while maintaining schedule, safety, and quality targets.
• Resolve critical issues across multiple fronts, subcontractors, and remote sites.
• Own project financial performance including forecasting, cash flow, billing, risk and margin.
• Lead contract negotiations, change management, claims, and commercial discussions with clients and subcontractors.
• Ensure QA/QC compliance, safety, permits, environmental obligations, and regulatory standards.
• Represent the project with clients, Indigenous communities, regulators, and leadership.
• Mentor project managers and field leaders, supporting resource planning and talent development.
