Job summary

The Wickaninnish Inn in Tofino, BC is seeking a proactive housekeeping supervisor to lead a team in a boutique resort setting. You will establish procedures, plan schedules, and maintain high cleanliness and safety standards for 50-100 rooms.

Your role includes budgeting support, inventory control, and coordinating maintenance and laundry services, while ensuring guest satisfaction and seamless operations in a demanding hospitality environment.

Qualifications

  • Must have College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years or equivalent experience.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience.

Responsibilities

  • Establish operational procedures
  • Select and purchase equipment and supplies
  • Plan and co-ordinate activities of housekeeping supervisors and crews
  • Co-ordinate inspection of assigned areas
  • Supervise staff
  • Ensure that safety standards and departmental policies are met
  • Maintain financial records
  • Prepare budgets and payrolls
  • Co-ordinate maintenance and repair services
  • Conduct performance evaluations and appraisals
  • Maintain inventory of supplies, equipment and uniforms
