Job summary

Compass Group Canada is seeking a Corporate Server & Porter to support daily operations in a corporate hospitality setting. You will perform housekeeping, assist with food preparation and service, and ensure clean and safe environments for meetings and events.

The role requires Food Handler and Smart Serve certificates, with prior food services or porter experience considered an asset. Independence and teamwork are valued, and English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Food Handler Certificate or provincial equivalent.
• Must have a Smart Serve Certificate.
• Previous food services, bartending and porter experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Perform housekeeping duties such as maintaining the cleanliness of meeting rooms and common areas.
• Assist with food preparation, setup and cleanup of chairs & tables, serving meals, delivering trays to residents, dishwashing and maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen.
• Perform duties according to health & safety guidelines, report all injuries and hazards to the supervisor immediately and other reasonable requests from management.
