Job summary

Southbridge Care Homes is seeking an Executive Director for Orchard Villa, Long-Term Care, in Ontario. This leadership role oversees resident-centred care, regulatory compliance, financial stewardship, and staff development to sustain a best-in-class home.

Reporting to the Regional Director, you will drive strategic initiatives, quality improvement, and community relations while ensuring safety, dignity, and excellence in service delivery across the organization.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary degree (minimum 3-year) in health or social services.
• Certification required: Long-Term Care Home Administrator or in progress.
• Must meet FLTCA administrator qualifications.
• Plus: Fire Safety certificate issued.
• Minimum 3 years of progressive leadership experience in health or social services.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership to achieve Home’s mission, values, and objectives.
• Oversee safe, resident-focused care and services compliant with legislation.
• Direct financial management, including operating and capital budgets.
• Recruit, mentor, and evaluate management and staff.
• Ensure regulatory, accreditation, and reporting compliance.
• Lead quality improvement, risk management, and performance monitoring.
• Maintain relationships with residents, families, staff, unions, and community partners.
