Job summary

Southbridge Care Homes is seeking a Director of Clinical Services based in Oshawa, Ontario. The role reports to the Director of Care and focuses on delivering high-quality resident care in a long-term care home.

The successful candidate will support care leadership, ensure compliance, and drive quality improvement across nursing services. Regular hours are Monday to Friday with potential overtime, and a collaborative, interdisciplinary care approach is emphasized.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse in good standing with the CNO.
• Minimum three years in long-term care; management experience an asset.
• Strong geriatric care knowledge and quality improvement focus.
• Proficient with RAI-MDS and clinical software systems.
• Proficient in Word, Excel and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Support the Director of Care in nursing services oversight.
• Promote best practices and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives and data reporting.
• Manage falls prevention, wound care, infection control programs.
• Oversee resources and supply utilization in the unit.
• Mentor staff, participate in on-call rotation, ensure safety.
