Job summary

Morgan Stanley in Montreal, Quebec seeks an Executive Director to lead the Polaris cloud-native PaaS strategy and delivery across trading and post-trade platforms. This role drives resiliency, observability, and platform modernization.

You will set cloud-native standards, champion Kubernetes adoption, CI/CD, and automation, and provide technical leadership across development, infrastructure, and production support teams. Hybrid work environment; French and English required.

Qualifications

Extensive experience leading application and platform delivery teams in enterprise environments.
Deep expertise in Kubernetes, containerization and cloud-native architectures.
Strong knowledge of distributed systems and multi-tenant platform design.
Proven leadership of DevOps and Python engineering teams.

Responsibilities

Lead Polaris platform strategy for low-latency trading and real-time risk platforms.
Define cloud-native architecture standards with cross-functional teams.
Drive adoption of Kubernetes, observability, and standardized integration patterns.
Provide technical leadership and ensure scalability, resiliency, and platform modernization.
