Job summary

Pursuit, based at the remote Columbia Icefields in Jasper National Park, is seeking an Executive Chef to lead all back‑of‑house culinary operations across Banquets, Restaurants, and Attractions. This on‑site role requires delivering a high‑quality, differentiated food program in a unique mountain setting.

You will partner with the General Manager on budgets and forecasts, manage Executive Sous Chefs, control food and labor costs, and ensure safety and sanitation standards are upheld.

Qualifications

• Red Seal certification is required.
• CCC will be an asset; extensive culinary leadership experience.
• Minimum four years as an Executive Chef with broad kitchen responsibilities.
• Strong communication, leadership and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage food cost and labor to meet budgets.

Responsibilities

• Lead all BOH culinary operations at the Columbia Icefields across venues.
• Deliver a progressive, differentiated food program.
• Partner with GM on P&L and budgets to exceed targets.
• Direct Executive Sous Chefs and manage par levels and inventories.
• Ensure safety, sanitation and SOP adherence.
• Develop seasonal menus, recipes and costings.
• Foster a positive, high‑performing kitchen culture.
