Job summary

Pursuit Collection Jasper is seeking a bartender for a full-time seasonal role at the Columbia Icefield in Jasper, AB. You will mix cocktails, handle payments, and maintain the bar area while delivering exceptional guest service in a high-volume setting.

On-site housing and meals are provided, with a seasonal retention bonus and opportunities to work across the Pursuit portfolio. ProServe/Serving It Right credentials are required, and a friendly, safety‑minded attitude is essential.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years bartending/cocktailing in high-volume bar/restaurant setting.
• Provincial ProServe/Serving It Right credentials.
• Strong work ethic and teamwork orientation.
• Able to work solo or as part of a team; listen actively and tell stories to guests.
• Capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment; anticipate guest needs.
• Physically able to perform duties and maintain high cleaning standards.
• Calm demeanor with conflict resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve guests in a welcoming, timely, and efficient manner.
• Handle cash, credit, and room charges with nightly deposits.
• Stock daily and clean the bar/lounge area.
• Maintain strong knowledge of menus, beers, wines, and spirits.
• Craft specialty cocktails using local and regional ingredients.
• Assist in welcoming, bussing, and serving in lounge, dining room, and lobby as needed.
• Follow policies for serving alcohol responsibly.
• Report safety or maintenance issues to management.
