About us: LDS - Learn. Develop. Succeed. is a growing, innovative, research-informed, nonprofit charity based in Vancouver, BC. We serve children, youth and adults with diagnosed or suspected learning differences such as dyslexia, written-output disorders, and ADHD.

In collaboration with academic institutions, we offer individualized, evidence-based programs that target student-specific learning needs. Our growing programs and services operate online, and from our Learning Centres in East Vancouver and North Vancouver, in-school locations, and our mobile classroom.

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, adaptable, and energetic Executive Assistant & Data Analyst to support our Executive Director and leadership team. This dual-role position blends high-level administrative coordination with data-driven insight to strengthen our strategic planning and mission delivery. The ideal candidate thrives on managing logistics while also interpreting data to guide organizational decisions. Key Responsibilities

Executive Assistant Functions

  • Manage calendars, appointments, and meeting logistics for the Executive Director and senior leadership.
  • Draft, edit, and manage executive correspondence, reports, and presentations.
  • Support board relations, including preparation of agendas, minutes, and reports.
  • Track and follow up on key tasks, deliverables, and action items across all departments (education, communications, finance, personnel, operations, fundraising, technology) for the Executive Director.
  • Provide logistical and research support for key initiatives including fundraising, government relations, and annual reporting.
  • Maintain and optimize digital filing systems and the organization’s workflows.


Data Analyst Functions

  • Collect, organize, and maintain datasets related to program delivery, learner outcomes, finance, operations, and supporter engagement.
  • Analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, and insights and measure key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Create visual dashboards and custom reports using Excel, Power BI, or similar tools.
  • Collaborate with leadership to ensure evidence-based decision-making across departments.
  • Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting to support board governance, grant applications, and public accountability.


Qualifications & Skills

  • Minimum 4 years of combined experience in executive support and data analysis (experience in a nonprofit or education setting is an asset).
  • Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail and time management.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Excel, data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau), and basic statistical analysis.
  • Familiarity with CRM or donor databases (e.g., Keela) and project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project & Planner, Trello).
  • Self-starter with demonstrated ability to manage multiple workstreams independently and prioritize effectively.
  • Understanding of data ethics, privacy, and working with sensitive or personal information.
  • Commitment to inclusive education, equity, and social impact.


Location: East Vancouver Learning Centre (3292 E Broadway @ Rupert)

Start Date: As soon as possible

Availability: This full-time position works 40 paid hours per week, flexible between 8am and 6pm.

Remuneration: Salary range $54,000–$68,000 annually (commensurate with experience)
