Responsibilities

  • Provide confidential administrative support including calendar and e-mail management.
  • Schedule meetings, arrange business travel, process mail, exception time reporting and records management.
  • Manage departmental cost reporting including requisitions, service entry sheets, invoicing and budgeting support.
  • Prepare and submit quarterly board reports.
  • Work with SAP/S4 and SharePoint for document management and reporting.
  • Prepare monthly deposits and act as a banking backup.
  • Manage access onboarding/offboarding and provide general admin support as needed.

The Role

Cameco is looking for an organized administrative professional to support the finance department. Supporting the vice‑president, controller, and the department, you will play an important role in the efficient and effective operation of this dynamic group. Your experience, strong organizational skills, technical aptitude and ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment will help you be successful in this role.

In This Role, You Will
  • Provide confidential administrative support which includes calendar and e‑mail management, scheduling of meetings, arranging business travel, processing mail, exception time reporting and records management.
  • Be responsible for departmental cost reporting which includes creating requisitions and service entry sheets, reconciling invoices and preparing reporting, as well as budget submission assistance and tracking.
  • Be responsible for quarterly board report submissions.
  • Work with several systems including SAP/S4 and SharePoint, acting as the department’s SharePoint champion and having responsibility for its document management system.
  • Be responsible for preparing monthly deposits as well as acting as a backup banking administrator.
  • Be responsible for access management and onboarding and offboarding employees and contractors.
  • Provide other general administrative support to the department as required.
Required
  • two-year business administrative diploma;
  • minimum of seven years of progressive experience in a corporate environment;
  • equivalent combination of education and work experience considered;
  • proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office products (Excel, OneDrive, OneNote, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, Word) and Nitro Pro;
  • strong inclination for technology and ability to learn systems quickly; and
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills.
