Job summary

Position and Responsibilities

Responsibilities include routine and non-routine analysis on received, processed, and exiting material; method development and procedure/equipment/instrumentation troubleshooting; maintenance, calibration, and commissioning of instruments; and collection, monitoring and sample preparation within designated parameters. You will also play an important role in supporting Cameco’s commitment to environmental stewardship by understanding the environmental aspects and impacts associated with the position and performing work in a manner that minimizes those impacts.

Education and Qualifications

• Diploma inchemical technology or Bachelor of Science in chemistry, or a related scientific discipline.
• Experience with analytical instrumentation and laboratory testing procedures. OR
• Knowledge of analytical chemistry principles and laboratory techniques.
• Laboratory experience in an industrial, manufacturing, mining, or environmental setting.
