WorkSafeBC is seeking an experienced Executive Administrative Assistant to support the Vice President, Prevention Services, and senior leaders. The role emphasizes discretion, confidentiality, and proactive administrative leadership.
The position involves coordinating calendars, meetings, travel, and communications while leveraging Microsoft 365 and AI-enabled tools to boost efficiency. Work will be based in Richmond or Kelowna with 4–5 in-office days weekly.
We are seeking an experienced Executive Administrative Assistant who excels at managing competing priorities and providing exceptional executive support within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of our Prevention Services division.
Reporting to the Vice President, Prevention Services, with a functional reporting relationship to the Manager, Divisional Planning & Coordination, you'll provide complex, highly confidential, and professional executive support at the senior leadership level. As a trusted partner to the Vice President, you'll apply sound judgment, discretion, and initiative to support divisional priorities and ensure the smooth operation of the executive office.
This position requires an entrepreneurial, adaptable, and forward-thinking mindset, with the confidence to navigate a fast-paced environment with discretion and professionalism. You will embrace evolving ways of working, including the effective use of digital, Microsoft 365, and AI-enabled tools to enhance organization, communication, coordination, and administrative effectiveness.
The successful candidate will work closely with Administrative Coordinators and executive support staff across Prevention Services to promote alignment, consistency, collaboration, and continuous improvement in leadership support practices throughout the division.
You'll help ensure B.C. workers go home safely at the end of their workday.
In this role, you will work primarily from our Richmond or Kelowna office, 4-5 in-office days per week, based on the operational needs of the position.
