Job summary

Hyatt Regency Vancouver is seeking a talented Events Services Server (Full-Time) to join our Banquet team. This role handles the full set-up, serving and clearing of Banquet rooms, delivering excellent guest service with strong communication skills.

Candidate must be available for flexible shifts (AM, MID, PM), including weekends/holidays. Starting wage is CAD 19.55/hour, increasing to CAD 22.80 after 6 months and CAD 26.06 after one year.

Qualifications

  • Must have true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous customer service experience required.
  • Must have Food Safe Level 1 and Serving It Right certificates.

Responsibilities

  • Set up, serve, and clear banquet rooms and provide excellent guest service.
  • Maintain sanitary event service stations, stock replenishment and equipment organization.
  • Work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays; lift moderate weight; strong communication skills.

Hyatt Regency Vancouver is seeking a talented, customer service oriented and dedicated Events Services Server (Full-Time) to join our Banquet team.

Events ServicesServer is responsible for the entire set-up, serving and clearing of Banquet rooms, service the guest and provide excellent customer service. This person must have good communication skills as well as the ability to lift, pull and push moderate weight. This is a fast-paced position with continual customer contact. Other duties include general events preparation and maintaining a sanitary environment (Event service station setups, stock replenishment, equipment organization and cleaning).

Candidate must be available to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays. Shifts could either be opening shifts (AM, MID or PM) which start at 5:00am and/or closing shifts until 2.00AM.

Starting wage for this position is $19.55per hour, after 6 months wage is $22.80 per hour, after 1 year wage is $26.06 per hour.
