Job summary

Securitas Canada is seeking a Security Supervisor for a high-profile event in Downtown Toronto, during Sept 10–20, 2026. This temporary role requires supervisory experience and strong leadership to manage security operations at theatres and venues.

Ideal candidates will have 2–3 years of event security supervision, excellent communication, and the ability to resolve issues quickly. Afternoon/evening availability and reliable transportation are essential to cover shifts between 3PM and 1AM.

Qualifications

We are seeking a Security Supervisor for a high-profile event in September. This is a temporary opportunity. You MUST have supervisory experience to be considered for this role.

You will have experience with high profile events such as TIFF, concerts, movie premiers etc. You will have a strong communication and the ability to resolve issues that arise quickly and efficiently. You will have a strong supervision background and leadership skills.

Shift: Be available between 3PM-1AM between Sept 10-20, 2026.

Site Locations: Downtown Toronto

Pay Rate: $25.00/hr

Responsibilities

• Ensure all functions, duties or tasks are to be carried out in an honest, ethical and professional manner, and to be performed in conformance with applicable company policies and procedures. In the event of uncertainty or lack of knowledge of company policies and procedures, employees are required to request clarification or explanations from superiors or authorized company representative.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of Event Security Supervisor experience minimum.


• Must have excellent communication skills and high level of customer service.


• Be able to work in an isolated environment managing security teams.


• Must have a reliable means of transportation (public or private) to get to Downtown Toronto.


• Must have the ability to speak, read, and write English.


• Be able to work mainly in the afternoons and evenings. Availability for any period is strongly preferred.


• Must have a High School Diploma or GED. Post-Secondary education in a related field is an asset.
