Job summary

Securitas Canada Limited is seeking on-call security personnel for protecting financial institutions throughout the GTA. The position offers on-call shifts with wages starting at $18.00 per hour and opportunities to work in a large, distributed security operations environment.

Responsibilities include de-escalation, escorting medical staff, responding to emergencies, access control, gate operations, trailer inspection, and CCTV monitoring.

Qualifications

• Valid Ontario Security License.
• First Aid and CPR Certificate.
• 1 year of security experience preferred.
• Understanding of security protocols and emergency response.

• Escort medical staff including paramedics, police and firefighters when required.
• Respond to medical emergencies and perform CPR/AED if needed.
• Unlock/lock doors and control access.
• Operate gates and screen visitors/trucks at gatehouse locations.
• Inspect trailers and ensure doors sealed before departure.
• Support mobile operations with security protocols.
• Follow breach procedures and notify supervisors when needed.
• Monitor CCTV and dispatch emergencies.

This posting is for on call/casual positions only and is for an ongoing recruitment campaign.

We are seeking highly motivated security personnel for positions within a physical security environment specializing in the protection of Financial institutions throughout the GTA.

Position Overview

Wages: $18.00+/hour

Shift timings: Varies (Day shifts)

Responsibilities

• De-escalate tense situations by verbal communication using a variety of techniques designed to reduce risk.
• Escort medical staff including paramedics, police and firefighters when required.
• Respond to medical emergencies and be prepared to perform CPR and AED if needed.
• Unlock and lock doors for access by authorized persons. Denying entry to anyone without authorization.
• Operate gates at gatehouse locations, screening all visitors and truck drivers.
• Inspect trailers ensuring trailer doors are locked and sealed before the truck leaves.
• Assist mobile operations teams with security protocols and enhance security at strategic locations.
• Follow security breach procedures by notifying supervisors or other appropriate personnel when security breaches occur.
• Monitor CCTV footage and cameras for irregularities and perform dispatch duties for the site including emergency response.
• Perform foot patrols inside and outside the facility.

Qualifications

• Valid Ontario Security License
• Valid First Aid and CPR Certificate
• 1 years of security experience minimum within large scale security operations is preferred.
• Thorough understanding of security protocols and procedures including emergency response.
• G or G2 class drivers' license with your own vehicle is preferred.
• Customer service experience is a strong asset.
