Job summary

Park Play Community Programs Inc. is seeking enthusiastic, reliable individuals to join our Event Rental Team. You will welcome guests, provide exceptional service, and help set up and take down tables, chairs, and equipment for events.

The role involves facility walkthroughs with renters, enforcing safety rules, and assisting with concession sales and add-ons. Training is provided; evenings, weekends, and some holidays are required.

Qualifications

Minimum 16 years of age.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Dependable, responsible, and able to work independently.
Comfortable interacting with children, families, and community groups.
Able to lift and move tables, chairs, and event equipment.
Previous customer service, recreation, event, hospitality, or childcare experience is considered an asset.
First Aid/CPR certification is an asset but not required.

Responsibilities

Welcome guests and provide excellent customer service throughout their rental experience.
Set up and take down tables, chairs, equipment, and event spaces.
Conduct facility walkthroughs with renters before and after events.
Monitor rentals to ensure facility rules and safety expectations are being followed.
Perform cleaning and sanitization duties before, during, and after events.
Assist with concession sales, party add-ons, and customer inquiries.
Address minor issues and concerns professionally while seeking support when required.
Complete opening and closing procedures.
Maintain a safe, organized, and positive environment for guests of all ages.
